You will understand what a subcutaneous injection is and the different types of medications administered using this method. We will discuss your responsibilities and requirements when administering medication via subcutaneous injection and outline the recommended procedure to follow. Lastly, you will learn about side effects and adverse reactions and your role in recognising and responding to these events to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the participant.
