In this course you will learn about change, a constant factor in the world and in your role as a Leader. You’ll learn about the important role all leaders play in understanding how individuals and teams respond to change and appreciate the value of leading with a positive mindset that promotes the benefits that change brings. You will learn about four stages and emotions people typically experience when responding to change and explore specific strategies that can be used to provide information, support, direction, and encouragement to employees as move through these stages. You’ll be introduced to two well known models of change management that can act as a framework for all leaders tasked with leading change initiatives and explore common obstacles to implementing change. As a Leader you’ll have a clear understanding of your role in any change process and have practical strategies and resources, inspiring your team to join you in making the change.
