TIPACL, Queensland – 150+ Employees
Watch Darren from TIPACL explain how quality training, consistent compliance, and exceptional person-centred support built one of Queensland’s leading NDIS providers with decades of experience.
“The NGO Training Centre have made training your staff simple and easy. Jasminne and the team have been absolutely great at understanding our needs here at TIPACL, walking us through the platform, and have always been available for any questions we’ve had.
We would recommend the NGO Training Centre because we can now have our entire training on the one platform, which is simple to use and to navigate…
“I highly recommend it. As a community-based organisation and a not-for-profit, we found this great value for money and great value to staff and to our management team for the leadership side also…
It’s easy to use, backed by a responsive team that listens and truly understands the sector, and understands our needs also. Sincerely, thank you from TIPACL.”
Anchored Care, Queensland – 150+ Employees

Watch Desire, Managing Director of Anchored Care, explain how NGO Training Centre has helped enhance the quality of Anchored Care’s services and team training.
“Participants need and demand quality care, and delivering that care comes from high-quality training. We use NGO to train our staff to deliver only excellence for all participants. NGO are leading the sector in training quality.
I’m a proud product of your hard work, so I want to thank you for what you do…it’s really critical in this time of compliance. You have taken a step forward in the sector.
I’m talking to any medium-sized, small-sized, big-sized NDIS service provider – it’s a no-brainer if you’re thinking about an LMS that will support you to grow your workforce and meet compliance… ” – Desire, Managing Director – Anchored Care
The Bridge, Victoria – 250+ Employees
“We were using a system that was restrictive and time consuming as recording the completion of training required a number of spreadsheets.
The NGO Training Centre allows The Bridge to assign courses to various groups within the organisation, develop our own courses, assign external courses, download completion rates of various users and courses from the one spot.
Implementing the system was also completed with ease as Jasminne guided us through the process, trialled the system before launching it and always made herself available to answer any of our questions.
Most courses take only 30 minutes to complete, are aligned to the NDIS practice standards and feedback from users so far have been very positive.
I look forward to The Bridge’s continued association with Jasminne and the team at the NGO Training Centre.”
Multicap, Queensland – 500+ Employees
“Having a geographically diverse workforce, the NGO Training Centre has excelled in meeting our training needs. Modules are informative and engaging, assisting us to develop our staff to provide the best level of care for our clients.
The reporting function is easy to use, allowing management to track their team’s progress. I would definitely recommend the NGO Training Centre for your online training needs.”
Aspire Hub, Queensland – 100+ Employees

1. Please briefly introduce yourself and your organisation
My name is Sindy Rennick, and I am the Chief People Officer – NDIS & Child Safety at Aspire Hub Pty Ltd and Aspire Hub CS Pty Ltd. We operate across the disability and child safety sectors, delivering person-centred services to NDIS participants and vulnerable children and young people. Our workforce consists of 304 employees across frontline and corporate roles.
2. Before working with us, what specific challenge or challenges were you facing around training or compliance?
Prior to engaging with the NGO Training Centre, we were experiencing challenges in maintaining consistent, high-quality training across a diverse and growing workforce. Ensuring compliance with NDIS and child safety standards, while balancing operational demands, was time intensive. We also identified varying levels in staff confidence, particularly in relation to safeguarding, clinical practices, and regulatory requirements.
3. What made you choose us over other training providers?
We selected the NGO Training Centre due to its sector-specific relevance, strong compliance focus, and a flexible delivery model. The ability to provide accessible, on-demand training that aligns particularly with our NDIS was a key differentiator, along with the quality of content and ease of implementation.
4. What has your experience been like working with us?
Our experience has been highly positive. The onboarding process was efficient, and the platform is intuitive for both employees and leadership. The training modules are well-structured and aligned with industry standards. Additionally, the responsiveness and support provided by your team is second to none and has enabled a smooth integration into our existing systems and processes.
5. What impact has this had on your organisation or your team?
The platform has strengthened our organisational capability by improving compliance, consistency, and workforce readiness. We have seen increased staff confidence, particularly in high-risk areas such as safeguarding and clinical care. It has also reduced administrative burden and enhanced our ability to demonstrate audit readiness and continuous improvement.
6. Was there a moment where you thought, ‘this is exactly what we needed’?
In all honesty, when I first commenced with Aspire Hub, the NGO Training Centre was not being utilised to its full potential, and there was minimal uptake of the available courses. Through working closely with Irina from the NGO Training Centre, I was able to explore the platform in greater depth, including the breadth and quality of the course content.
That was the moment I realised we had something truly valuable, an untapped resource with the potential to significantly strengthen our workforce capability and compliance.
7. Who would you recommend this to, and why?
I would recommend this platform to organisations operating, particular within the NDIS, and broader community services sectors. It is valuable for providers seeking a scalable, compliant, and high-quality training solution that supports both workforce development and risk management.
8. In one sentence, how would you describe us to another organisation?
A strategic training partner that delivers practical, compliant, and scalable learning solutions for complex care environments.
Care Provisions Australia – 60+ Employees

“The NGO training modules have significantly contributed to enhancing our integrity, credibility, and quality.
I extend my sincere gratitude to your team for this exceptional product and for your collaborative efforts.
I can confidently state that it has proven to be one of the best business decisions we have made.”
Montessori Care, New South Wales – 50+ Employees
“Before adding the new Aged Care courses, one of our main challenges was ensuring our training remained current, compliant, and practical across both disability and aged care frameworks, without overloading staff with generic or outdated content. We needed courses that were clearly aligned with regulatory expectations and could be easily implemented across a diverse workforce.
We chose NGO Training Centre’s courses because they are well-structured, audit-focused, and clearly designed for the sector, rather than being purely theoretical. The relevance of the content, ease of access through the LMS, and confidence that the training would stand up to compliance and quality audits were key factors in our decision over alternative options.
The new Aged Care courses provide more training and competency for our workers as most of our current pool are disability focused. This makes them more well-rounded and can help incentivise them to work more.
What we value most about the NGO Training Centre is the overall customer service and experience, combined with the high quality and breadth of course content available.
The support from the team has been excellent, in particular, Ben, has been outstanding. He communicates clearly, is always approachable, and is readily available to support us whenever needed, which makes a significant difference in managing training across a busy organisation.
We also value the quality of the course content and the wide range of courses available, which allows us to meet diverse training and compliance needs across both disability and aged care services with confidence.”
Voyager Care, Western Australia – 5 Employees

Watch Tamzin and Kaitlyn from Voyager Care explain the importance of their online training to their quality of care and organisational growth.
What problem were you trying to solve with our training? We would go through the NDIS website and they would have the free training modules, but we didn’t know how to get bigger from there. How do we get more participants? How do we get more support workers? And we needed to get registered as a provider. So training was the next step, and a few people we spoke to said to go to NGO Training Centre.
What has impressed you about NGO Training Centre? Easy to get through, very descriptive price list, very easy to get started. We like the fact NGO have an app, because nobody has apps – and you can do it offline as well. And it’s very easy to use on the admin side as well – very self-explanatory and very user-friendly. And with any enquiries we have, we speak to the same person and they’re always helpful.
What makes our LMS different from other providers? The app is great, and the system saves your progress so you can come back to it later. The reporting is easy and very user-friendly.
What has exceeded your expectations? The customer service all round – always speaking to the same person who is always helpful, the chat on the website us useful for information quickly and easily, and getting started was simple with no pushy salesperson.
What features sold you on choosing our Courses? The training is easy to use even on our phones, and is actually informative – it’s actually helpful and it helps us help our participants, so it’s going to help everyone. We spoke to people who recommended NGO Training Centre, and the customer service all round is excellent.
What do you value the most about the NGO Training Centre? The customer support and helpful team, the course quality, the app and the LMS being easy to use, and the range of courses to cover a wide range of topics.

Our 100+ online disability support training resources provide an innovative, affordable, and all-in-one solution designed to support Australian disability organisations in building a skilled, confident, and compliant workforce.
The cost of our various disability training packages largely depends on how many staff members you have that will require access to the training – smaller teams can train for as little as only $1040 per year, and larger teams tend to spend between $5,000 and $10,000 per year for our full suite of courses and a customisable LMS – these options are much more affordable than other training providers, or trying to train your staff in house!
NDIS providers must ensure their workforce understands and applies the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct. The exact training requirements depend on the supports you deliver, but most providers need training that covers compliance, incident and risk management, participant rights, and governance.
Importantly, training isn’t just about completion. It must be relevant to your services, properly documented, and clearly implemented in day-to-day practice.
At a minimum, all staff should complete:
– NDIS Worker Orientation Module – the mandatory 90-minute online module covering participant rights, safety and responsibilities
– NDIS Worker Screening Check – required clearance for working with participants
– NDIS Code of Conduct training – understanding safe, ethical and professional behaviour
– Infection Control and PPE training – maintaining health and safety standards, and
– Incident Response and Reporting training – knowing how to identify and report incidents or concerns.
If you’re unsure what applies to your registration group, we can help you identify the right training pathway for your organisation.
Preparing for an NDIS audit involves:
– Reviewing alignment with all relevant NDIS Practice Standards modules
– Ensuring policies and procedures are current
– Providing documented evidence of staff training
– Demonstrating incident management systems
– Showing risk management processes in action
Auditors look for implementation, not just documentation. Staff must understand and apply the standards in practice, which comes from high quality training. Here is a link that explains how to prepare for an audit: https://www.ndiscommission.gov.au/provider-registration/apply-registration/types-audits
Compliance training should be:
– Updated when legislation or standards change
– Refreshed annually for high-risk areas (or every 3 months if these skills are not used)
– Included in staff induction
– Reviewed as part of continuous improvement
Regular updates demonstrate proactive governance and reduces audit risk.
Yes – all registered NDIS providers must meet the applicable Practice Standards for the supports they deliver. However, the scope of required modules varies depending on registration groups and service types. Smaller providers still need documented systems, trained staff, and audit-ready evidence.
If a provider fails an audit, outcomes may include:
– Corrective action plans
– Follow-up audits
– Conditions placed on registration
– Suspension or revocation of registration (in serious cases)
Proactive compliance training reduces the likelihood of non-conformities.
Effective compliance training:
– Improves staff understanding of standards
– Reduces incidents and complaints
– Strengthens governance culture
– Ensures consistent documentation
– Demonstrates due diligence
Training that connects standards to real-world scenarios is especially powerful during audits.
Common issues include:
– Incomplete training records
– Outdated policies
– Poor incident documentation
– Lack of evidence linking training to practice
– Inconsistent implementation across teams
Compliance failures are often evidence failures, not intent failures.
Yes, online training is acceptable for audits provided it is:
– Relevant to the applicable standards
– Properly documented
– Accessible to staff
– Put into practice
Completion certificates and training logs should be retained as audit evidence.
