Within this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively assist participants with their medication. You will learn what medication is, the different types of medications, and the importance of medication reviews. We will then unpack the role and obligations of a disability support professional when assisting participants with medication. And lastly, we will dive into Dose Administration Aids and review the common medication risks when providing support to a participant.

By the end of this course, you will gain confidence and competence in medication management within your scope, ensuring the safety and well-being of the participants that you support.
